Via this website, we will in the future disseminate all educational materials created in the project, separated by work package. These will be accompanies by tutorials aimed at lecturers to tailor the materials to their subject matter and target audiences.
To engage many UU-professionals, we will create a teacher inspiration initiative that revolves around adapting new forms of empowering teaching that have been developed and tested. Lead by Larike Bronkhorst – a ‘learning to change the world’-specialist – and in collaboration with O&T and the Sustainable Education and Engagement Group (SIG SEE/PtS), WP5 will involve a broader community of professionals in exploring empowering forms of learning in their respective courses and curricula (see section ‘embedding’ above).
In year 1 ideas and initiatives are shared. In year 2 educational materials are made available (see below, using the UU library’s open education repository). In year 3 the evaluation findings are shared through various outlets, including community newsletters, the UU Onderwijsfestival, the O&T website, open-access professional publications (e.g., cross-case analyses of teaching modules) and a freely accessible workshop.
Next to disseminating open-access teaching modules via CAT the materials are embedded in at least 9 BA/MA-courses (see embedding section for an overview). We will also reach out to colleagues who develop new courses addressing climate emergence during the runtime of the project.
